Ezra's Eurovision Song Contest (usually abbreviated to EESC, mostly known as Ezra's Eurovision) is a RoESC that was created in July 2023, which is based on the long-running Eurovision Song Contest. It is a successor to the Modres' Earthvision Song Contest, which was cancelled 9 months before the first edition. Countries within the JEBU broadcasting zone (with Israel, Belarus and Russia excluded) are eligible to compete.
The contest is based on the long running Eurovision Song Contest. Countries that are within the JEBU broadcasting zone are eligible to compete, which excludes Israel, Russia and Belarus who are barred from entering. Participating countries can opt to having a national selection for their artist or an internally selected by their broadcaster. Many of these countries would take part in a Semi Final (scrapped for the first edition), with the remaining countries being a part of the 5 automatic qualifiers, which is made up from the previous editions top 5. Usually, the previous winner has the automatic rights to staging the next edition of the contest, although this may be impossible for a few participating countries. The shows would typically start off with a flag parade, which then leads to the hosts being introduced, which will have many roles during the show.
