The Jshllooo's Eurovision Song Contest 01 was the first annual Jshllooo's Eurovision Song Contest. It was held in Antwerp, Belgium, after being selected by the Jshllooo Broadcasting Union on invitation to the Flemish broadcaster Vlaamse Radio- en Televisieomroeporganisatie (VRT).
21 countries were intended to compete, although it was announced only 9 would participate
It was won by singer Ariana Grande representing San Marino with the song "we can't be friends (wait for your love)". The final was held on 20th July 2024. The top 5 consisted of Runner-up United Kingdom, Ireland, Denmark and Ukraine.
The contest took place on discord, after technical issues prevented a live show.
The slogan for the first edition was announced on the 28th December, which is "Sail Into Adventure". It represents Antwerp as it is a port city, along with representatives sailing into their own adventure at the contest. The visual design was revealed on the 30th December. The logo has three different shades of blue, which is inspired by the waves of both the sea and sound. It is known that the visual design changes with each show, with the opening ceremony being pink, the semi final being turquoise and the final being a dark blue.
The stage design was revealed on the 22nd June. It resembles both a boat and the sea, with two pools at the corners of the catwalk and main stage. It also has a bow shape on both the stage and roof lighting.
The allocation draw of #01 premiered on YouTube on the 2nd January. Gustaph was originally intended to open the show, but didn't to reduce run time.
